New pattern looks okay...Interview will be of 100 marks only?
GS III in mains should be merged with either GS I or GS II. So we will have only 3 papers + interview for final selection.
I doubt if the suggestions made by us will be accepted. I think this notice appears to be a bureaucratic process which needs to be followed and so they are following it. Thanks

g.k. k teachrs ke moaj hone wale hai...or subject k teachers ya to apne g.k. strong karenge ya berojgaari ka dansh jhelenge....
bazaar me g.k. ki kitaboo ki baad ane wale h...kripya soch samj k books le..

it seems that too much emphasis is led on all type of g. k. and g.s. They had better put something to test the ethics , attitudes and intellectual level of the aspirant, which i don't think can be tested like this .
but dnt u all agree that they shud hv let us know about the changes a liitle earlier..i mean im giving it 4 second tym and now im supposed to chuck my subjects and start preparing for csat..and we are not even sure abt the pattern yet..as no official statement has been issued..and im sure the notification will be out jst 2 months prior to the due date of exams..
Thanks to sh.m.l. kumawat sir, kyo ki itna achha changes rpsc me pahali bar ho raha ha me state govt. se request karna chahata hu ki sh.kumawat sir ko abhi at least two years rpsc me chairman rakhe esa karna state ke liya achha hoga ,new pattern me syllabus suficient ha pre me rajasthani g.k.40 % tak rakha jay. AS we know no. of RAS candidates r gradually increasing..so pattern changes must be there to select multi-talented student...but I don't think old student will accept changes because they have done their preparation on basis of old pattern.
above all thing RPSC should declare their decision soon..ol d best 4 all aspirants.
i always wanted rpsc to do it . our state dont want rattuuuuuuuuuuuuu people in our administration, we shuld be sharp enough to implement appropriate amendments. this aptitude test is surely a step towards improvement in our system.

well at least they are not coming in June and also chances are less that they advertise that in July as no news from DoP regarding number of vacancies so unless they convey the same to RPSC it seems it take some time. Also the chances of new pattern coming into effect in this years RAS is lesser.
hi sir i want to know that whether we have to prepare ras with old syllabus or with new syllabus? also tell me when will new vacancies will come approximately?
I don't think RPSC will take this year's exam with new pattern. Notification is due and may be out in a month or two. RJS notification will be coming in this week only. LAst RJS was conducted in 2008.

when'll be the vacancies declared with new pattern, we need time to study.... whatever changings are coming..do them fast.
in mains it should be as before.
it would be too lengthy for aspirants.the main power of a student is specialization in particulor subjects.

Thanks to Mr. Kumawat for changing the pattern of RAS. Now we dont need to be get tensed for scaling. Mr. Kumawat, you have done a lot of improvements in Different kinds of RPSC exams.

it would be quit good and provide the chance to freshers who really want to be an admin officer, but due to 10 - 15 years repeaters they rollover from the first fight. Thanks to RPSC.

RPSC yearly calendar of examinations says RAS/RTS will be held in september 2011 but no notification yet. I think it will be published after the festival season is over and pre exam will be held in December 2011.

As per as RAS new pattern, It will be like this:
Part 1 (Pre): 200 marks -G.K. of Rajasthan and India, general awareness, aptitude, general science (objective).
Part 2 (Main): 200+200+200+200 marks subject papers, and 200 marks Hindi+English+Rajasthani language (subjective).
Interview: 100 marks

@Ram : there is not much need of coaching if u can give daily 6-8 hrs every day for preparation. You can consult std books as listed in the blog. Coachings are of some help as it give u competitive environ and a circle to discuss things. Parishkar, Rao's and SMS coahing are of some help. Good Luck.
dear sir , i have geog. in my graduation and i have done pg in economics , but i want to write this upcoming ras exam with eco and philosophy. wht u say it will be wright decision or not i have never read philo. before but for reference i went through the syllabus and subject matter of philosophy from a guide of 2nd grade teacher exam . i read some chapters of indian philosophy as well as some of western philosophy and i find it interesting.
my problem with geog. that i cant mug up so many names of places, data etc. and it has lengthy syllabus also. plz reply

Hello sir how much cut off will b there for gen category girls ? How much scaling wud b done in pub ad?
it will be around 55-60% but more the better, it seems the pub admn paper is not the easy one so hope for positive scaling in it, an addition of few marks.

form for the "PROGRAMMER COMP. 2013" .In the form its mention the
photo of the signature that the candidate have to upload should have
signature both in english and hindi .But I have uploaded only
english signature photo . So I am in dilemma whether my form get
rejected or not .
