Sorry no idea abt commerce paper but I think unless commerce paper is too easy, there are good chances.
112 in GS is too good man, and also with 140 in history, I must say go for mains prepn.
No separate cutoff for GS Himanshu dear but there is no scaling in that.

@ ALL : These are all my personal assumptions and based on my tryst with RPSC from the last 10 years, I appeared in all the interviews of RAS from 1999 onwards. Take it or leave it but plz don't blame me, I am after all human and liable to be erred but its without any malafide intention. Keep on commenting. Cheers.

ppl predict there marks must reduce at lest 15% bcoz its game of rpsc nd fate. if u score 200+ then must say safe. if u clear pt then try for mains if not then gain experince nd try 4 next chance. dnt wast own time in asking foolish kind question. u must ask problm regarding rajasthan gs n hindi , english. paper bcoz these r selector in final {200+100+100=400 inma jyadatar candidate 90+ in hindi . 25/30 in english n 50 in rajasthan gk main raha jata hai} @ kapil b.

@ Rubal : Other state girl comes in Gen/Gen We; with 110 GS and 150 in Socio, you have good chance to qualify

there are lot of changes proposed in RAS exam from next time, with subject knowledge not to be tested.the reality is if we see pattern of toppers, just being masters of a subject and good scaling, they become toppers.
With all subjects being common, this would be the best and most objective way of testing calibre rather than rote learn subjects and vomit them in paper, then waiting for scaling miracle to happen.

When is the result of RAS 2010 expected? I thought it will be declared in Oct?

well, if RPSC is satisfied that paper has not been leaked then result can be declared in Nov but if that's not the case then God knows.

@ Vishal : yeah tentative date is still 24th Dec unless and until RPSC declare, for Indian Administration : Go through Awasthio and Awasthi, RKS Aurora's book beside that also consult Indian Constitution, Yojna and Kurukshetra if possible

I have a option to buy online Madhusoodan Tripathi's and surendra Kataria's book [HINDI MEDIUM].Since, presently staying in W.B. on my job and Books on these topics are not availiable in Hindi Medium.Presently i have a course material on Lok Prashashan but in this some of topics are not covered. Some of the guys in this forum have mentioned that pre can again be taken in JANUARY... due to leakage of paper.Is this have any probability?

hi naeresh jee i am not able to understand the process of the scaling in ras .i have seen that a man getting 125 in history paper 1 is given 87 only after scaling but in the same exam the another one marks war 105 in the same paper scaled to 135 how can it be possible two yardsticts for the two men in the same paper ?plse clarify
