VC appointed for 15 Central Universities

Vice Chancellors of fifteen new Central Universities in the Country have been appointed

1. Abdul Wahid : Central University of Jammu and Kashmir,
   
2. D T Khathing : Central University in Jharkhand
   
3. Jancy George : University of Kerala,
   
4. A M Pathan : University of Karnataka,
   
5. M M Salunkhe : University of Rajasthan,
   
6. Jairup Singh : University of Punjab,
   
7. Surabhi Banerjee : University of Orissa,
   
8. B P Sanjay : University of Tamil Nadu,
   
9. R C Sobti : University of Himachal Pradesh,
   
10. Mool Chand Sharma : University of Haryana,
    
11. R K Kale : University of Gujarat ,
    
12. Janak Pandey : University of Bihar,
    
13. N S Gajbhiye : Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya in Sagar (Madhya Pradesh),
    
14. S K Singh : Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna University in Uttarakhand and
    
15. Lakshman Chaturvedi : Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya in Chhattisgarh.

Tweleve of these universities will be new while three others have been upgraded from state-level varsities.
